Young Austrian Tim Miedl will start for Renauer Motorsport in the new ACCR Formula 4 series.

During the two test drives at the Pannoniaring, Miedl was able to make such a good impression that the racing team has now offered him a cockpit for the new junior formula for Central Europe, the ACCR Formula 4.

It will be the 16-year-old’s debut in single-seater racing after six successful years in karting and Miedl is therefore full of anticipation: “It’s an absolute dream come true for me. Ever since I started racing, I’ve wanted to be on the track in a single-seater. It’s the obvious next step and it’s going to be a big challenge. But I’m ready to accept it.”

Teaam boss Sepp Renauer is also convinced that he made the right choice saying: “Tim has a lot of potential, but of course, he is still lacking experience. In the two tests, however, he proved that he is not only fast, but also a quick learner who makes very few mistakes. That is why we have decided to sign him on.”

The ACCR F4 season begins in April at the Hungaroring.
