Interest in the ACCR Formula 4 Championship is growing. Hungarian racer Zéno Kovács is another driver confirmed to start in the series in 2022

Zénó Kovács has been racing karts competitevly since 2017, running in the Euro Trophy, the CEE championship, and the WSK KZ2, where scored several podium finishes.

“Entering Formula 4 means a dream come true for me, because car racing has always been my greatest passion. I was given a chance by Gregor Zsigo to join the Racing Trevor Junior program, which will give my career as massive boost. I am very grateful for this opportunity,” Kovács said.

The nineteen-year-old Hungarian has always “wanted to become a professional driver in GT cars” and is dreaming of a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, he is well aware that first of all he needs to focus on getting acquainted with the Formula 4 cars.

“The biggest challenge for me will be to find the rhythm quickly, as most drivers on the grid have far more experience in car racing than I do. My goal this year is to finish in the Top 3 overall, to learn and develop as much as possible, and to prove to the team that I deserve the trust they have put in me,” Kovács added.
